Jen Maldives Male by Shangri-La

We loved Hotel JEN Maldives Male by Shangri La! Location was great, everything is within walking distance! They made Check-in easy, and my room had a beautiful view of the Sea. The staff provided lots of useful information about Male. They offer a free shuttle to and from the airport which saved us time and money. Housekeeping checked the room daily and did a great job. The room was spotless every day. Our room boy Nabeesh made sure that we were properly looked after and made sure we had everything we needed, he also made us an animal from towels and left these on our bed, we were very touched by this. Breakfast buffet had fresh fruits, smoothies, pastries and many variations, something for everyone (even lactose free). On request you can also have various dishes made such as Poori, Chilla and Omelets. The kitchen staff (Chef Vicky and his great team) were fantastic! The dinner in the restaurant was extremely delicious. Good taste and you really finished your plate. Thanks to Team Sam (host of restaurant, Manisha and Indika (breakfast and dinner host) and not to forget especially of Chef Hardik, great chef! We enjoyed every day a delicious meal, such as Lamb Biryani, Chicken Biryani, Butter Chicken, Beef Filley Mignon, Salmon and Gambas’. Of course, all mocktails were on good taste and we enjoyed it immensely. The swimming pool on the rooftop is nice and clean and from morning to late afternoon you can sunbathe and swim with a view of the sea. Fitness room is nice and clean. The most impeccable part of our stay was the entire staff’s hospitality, which was A1 and made our stay a very memorable happening. We highly recommend this hotel with their most respected teams of operations.

Roof top pool and restaurant were excellent. They also had a small but decent gym. The breakfast was decent and offered an array of items.

Breakfast Anjali from lime restaurants was so sweet and cheerful , the chef from live station for scramble egg and dosa is friendly and raman was super helpful during our dining. Loved every moment of the experience we had for breakfast. Room House keeping Janith Maleesh was super nice to clean the room and the standard was awesome. Customer service Faan was so helpful as our flight was at night so we requested for extended hours until our flight departed. She was helpful and patience with us giving us extension at a reasonable rate. Nuha was friendly during the first day of our check in as she was nice and she explained all thing in details to us.

The hotel is in a very good location, easy access to all shops nearby, and the coffee and breakfast are very good, staff are very friendly, and attentive, the services was very good, in particular mentioning of staff named Riyaz, he gave us very good services during our 4 nights stay. Love the roof top swimming pool and bar, it has beautiful views to the ocean and Hulumale, airport area.

The staff are friendly and helpful. They would accommodate your requests as much as they can and provide you with an excellent service. They also do money exchange so you don't have to find it in other places. Breakfast is really good.
